Last year went by smoothly without a fuss for Cody. He got all A's last semester before this summer semester started. He is in second grade now. I honestly do not like this teacher. I think she is a control freak. She told James today that he has been disrupting the class everyday for the last two weeks. She told us up front she will not tell us what's going on unless the students are "really bad". Well.. today apparently, he was talking the whole time. I volunteered a month ago and I really do not want to go back because she was nit picking with the kids the whole entire time (and screaming). James will be going in within the next two weeks or so to observe. We are allowed to observe any time we want. There is nothing wrong with our boy. The therapist we spoke to in Kindergarten said at the time he is five, and kids in general cannot be expected to be silent for 7 hours a day. He is an A student. He is very bright. Her "concern" was he would behind in Math if he continues to talk. I say bull, because the kid knows more Math than I do. I am not saying he is a perfect most well behaved kid ever, but we did not have this problems last year. When he was in first grade most days were smooth sailing. I will also volunteer to observe and James and I will take turns. Other than that are there anymore suggestions?
