It's cold here too! Today is the worst so far with about -5 wind chill I think. I think the high today was 20 but it's super windy! Tomorrow is supposed to be worse but I don't know what to expect. It's damn cold! I can't imagine -30! I feel like my face would just instantly freeze! I have only left the house to drop off or pick up the kids.
@preciousnd98 Sorry DS is sick! Great job on doing what you can though. I am glad to hear the shred kicks your ass too! Do you do level 1? I was thinking of trying to commit for most of the winter doing Jan at level 1, Feb at level 2 and March at level 3. Then I will can get outside and walk or run and be done with the video although I have to say I am starting to enjoy it and get used to it! The scale may also be up for you if you have been working out more. Mine went up 2lbs and it was horrifying but I was down 2.2lbs this morning so hopefully it will just go down now. It's interesting how that happens. It must have been the sore muscles. I am FINALLY not sore anymore! I can't believe I made it through with that soreness. It was very painful! Tomorrow is finally my day off....ahhhh....
I did the Heidi and Chris Powell Diet Bet. I am not sure if you can still join. It started on the 5th I think? I am all signed up but honestly I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing if anything. All I know is around Feb 2nd I have to weigh in and if I am below 132 I should make my $30 back plus whatever the split is split into......

@tanyachap You are funny. I don't mind the cold but it's not like I am leaving the house lol! I am waiting for AF too. She should be here around the 13th. Sorry for the hunger! I have been looking into pre and post work out foods. I have read you should try for at least 10g of protein after a workout. Since I do my workout video around lunch time I decided to split my lunch into 2 - a pre-workout snack and a post work out. Today I did it wrong lol. I had a deviled egg and salad before my work out and a PB and banana smoothie after. It probably would have been better reversed. I think I am going to start going a smoothie before and meal after. I got my ninja pro! Loving the smoothies! And thanks I hate throwing out food but I just could not have those around!
I am hoping I am really mentally getting back into the swing of things. I didn't realize how far I had strayed. Last night was my first night not snacking or drinking and it was HARD! Today I have been making great food choices and didn't even snack when the kids had theirs! I am going food shopping tomorrow and looking forward to getting some good snacks and cool smoothie ingredients!
