Ok so I have been doing some thinking and reflecting and planning on this last day of the year lol.
As I said above I plan to start the 30 day shred. Going to start on Sat the 3rd which will bring me to 1 day before my 40th I am going to weigh in and take measurements and all that. I am also going to try to stick to 1100 calories and about 60g of carbs. That will be my diet. There will be days that I am sure i go over but for the most part I am going to try to aim for that. I will be logging my food EVERY day and wearing my fitbit too. I am not eating extra to account for the exercise. 1100 calories gives me a 500/day deficit for the most part and the exercise will just add to that.
In addition, as motivation to keep up the working out I came up with this silly plan lol. I got some money for xmas and the way DH and I work it is that we keep whatever money we get to do whatever we want. Money we get together we use for us or for the house or whatever. So I am taking $25 of MY money and giving it to him in singles. He will give me $1 back for each day I exercise within the 30 days. It sounds silly but it just may work for me because I HATE the idea of losing money lol. It gives me 5 days to not workout within the 30 too which is helpful. Any money I don't earn back is his. He seemed to think it was a great idea lol.
So that is my resolution and plan. I think I finally got over the "well I already blew it today so I might as well stuff my face" mentality. Now I just need to plan ahead and start to control myself on the days that will not be so diet-friendly. I am proud that I am starting on the 3rd instead of the 5th which is Monday. I would usually use the weekend as a last hurrah and go nuts but I don't want to do that anymore.
Feel free to join me!
Oh and DH and I are using a Bed, Bath and Beyond gift card we got for xmas to buy a nija pro! I REALLY wanted to get into juicing/shake-making and it got great reviews. In talking to him about MY plans he seems to be getting more inspired to make his own changes so that is good too. Oh and I got this AWESOME fig balsamic vinegar for xmas. It's SO good. I used a bit of that with basil olive oil on my salad the other day and it was sooooo tasty! Just a little salt and that was it. It's so flavorful it doesn't take much. It came from the Crushed Olive store. Not sure if that is a chain but if anyone is interested and you have one near you go get some!!! Good stuff!
