Urgh, all of my OCD for hand sanitizer and hand washing during the last month and my toddler is sick! He had a touch of a fever last night at 99 underarm and today it was 100.1 under arm before his nap. He is congested but that's it.
Baby girl will be 1 month next Thursday. She is exclusively breastfed and spends most of her time sleeping in our room but she was in the car with him this morning for about 20 mins to his gym class and back and last night for about 3 hours while we were waiting for their older sisters to finish up dance class. He isn't coughing or sneezing, how common is it to pass an illness through being in the same room? I always wash my hands before touching her and he didn't touch her in the car at all.
I AM FREAKING OUT. Does anyone have stories of toddlers being sick and newborns not getting it (or getting it?). I know fever is automatic hospital admission for newborns so I am just hoping and praying that she doesn't catch it.
