OMG... I am the absolute worst at updating....
Anyway.... I had my baybay!! He was born the day after my birthday (waahhhh) but he's here and healthy. He was a big'um 9lb 6oz.born via c-section - which I was okay with at the time. I still am okay with it. I went into a doc appt at 40weeks and 4 days. They did the usual NST and then sent me to the hospital because he wasnt being super active. I got there and they also thought he wasn't being as active as he should be so they gave me my options. I could have waited to go into labor naturally (risky and unadvised), or been induced and tried to labor (as long as the baby wasn't in distress) but when he showed me the printout of another mother that was also due and that baby was moving around SO much more, I made up my mind to do the c-section (so that there were no complications or unneeded stress). His cord was BEAUTIFUL. My best friend was in the delivery room with me and able to cut the cord. That was super special for us, he is my son's godfather and Grayson has his namesake for a middle name. 💙
He's doing great now! He's rolling over both ways, TRYING so hard to crawl! He gets places though- like magic! He loves to be held and have all attention on him. He's got the best laugh and smile. His big brother ADORES him. I'm super proud of Carter as a big bro - he's so loving and attentive. They really warm my heart to the fullest.
I'll try to make another post with other pics. But it said they were too big.... We will see..
