dd is about to be 3. for the past few days she has complained of a headache at the end of a tantrum or shortly after one is over. is this normal or should i be talking to her pedi about it? she will be going to the pedi for her yearly check up in early april should i get in now or wait till the annual checkup?she does not complain of her head hurting any other time
If you are to concerned I would talk to the dr but really I personally think it would more than likely be the result of the tantrum.. Crying can definitely cause headaches and I would think fits would even easier.. Hope they get better tho!
Crying gives me a headache 100% of the time and has as long as I can remember. I have sinus issues, though, but those didn't start until I was ten.
i also get a headache if i cry hard, and had tons of sinus issues that starten in infancy and resolved when i got older.but i still get headaches often so was thinking that was her problem but i also under-react to this kind of stuff and wanted to make sure i was noot missing something that needed checking.
I get headaches after a good cry and that could be what is happening but if you're concerned call the doc and ask about it and see what they say.
As PP said, talk to her pedi if you are concerned but I get big headaches from crying and so do both my kids. My DH is also prone to headaches from a lot of things. Fever, sickness and crying all give us headaches ...
